Lost his clothes privileges

Older adolescent males were not punished as effectively by "grounding" or punishments that may have worked when they were younger, but one thing they were very sensitive about was their pride... and in a disciplinarian household, dignity, modesty, and clothing were privileges.

When the neighbor reported on the 19 year old ruffian stealing liquor from her garage, she hadn't expected to be treated to watching his punishment. She looked on delightedly.
