He wanted so badly to cover, but knew this could get him in trouble—stepdad had insisted he “stop being a girl” and go bare after he forgot his suit, thinking this excuse would get him out of a corny family beach day. He didn’t need a reddened ass to add to his humiliation. All the 18 year old lad’s peers wore suits…

Jason had grown to like his stepfather Riks, but he also feared the man. Rikkart Kask married Jason’s mom when the boy was 13, some years after her first husband, Jason’s father, had abandoned them. Riks had stepped into the role of fathering Jason and his younger brothers quickly. Guys trips to go hiking, camping and fishing had brought them all together. Riks imparted his love of hockey to the boys, though Jason never liked it as much as his brothers. He adopted the boys, and they took his last name.
But, perhaps because he’d been born and raised in Estonia, Riks also had traditional ideas about raising boys. He expected them to be manly and strong, and he would brook no disobedience. Jason lost count long ago as to how many times he’d seen or heard Riks spank his brothers. Jason’s own backside knew well the searing pain that came from the forceful application of his stepfather’s belt.
Yes, it was always bare butt. And yes, it was always followed by corner or wall time showing off that freshly reddened bare butt.
Now, celebrating five years of marriage, Riks had finally taken the family to visit his native country for the summer. Today the whole extended Kask family - most of whom Jason barely knew - were headed to the beach. All of Jason’s step cousins were younger, so this promised to be super boring. Jason had met some other guys his own age in town and wanted to hang with them. Apparently it was legal to drink at 18 in Estonia, and the guys promised they’d take him to a couple good bars. After all, Jason was a man now!
Jason brashly announced he wasn’t going to the beach but would hang out with his new friends instead. Riks put his foot down. Jason argued anyway. Riks started to take off his belt. Jason backpedaled fast. The whole family, which had been busily preparing for the trip to the beach, silently watched the unfolding drama. Riks’ father, Jason’s step grandfather, quickly intervened. He pressed down on Riks’ shoulder and said something firm in Estonian to his son. Then he looked his grandson squarely in the eye and in broken English announced that Jason had changed his mind and wanted to come after all - wasn’t that right? Embarrassed to be the center of attention, Jason meekly agreed.
Soon after, the family piled into the cars and they were off. Jason’s brothers and cousins were chattering away. Jason sulked.
When they arrived at the beach, there was no changing facility. Everyone just started taking off their clothes. The ladies and girls already had their swimsuits on underneath. To Jason’s shock, none of the men and boys did. They all stripped totally naked, the older boys who had reached puberty then pulled on swimsuits while the little kids stayed nude. Even his wrinkly old step grandfather stripped down buck naked - right there on the beach, right out in the open - before pulling on a skimpy speedo. Totally gross!
Jason’s younger brothers wrapped themselves in towels to change, to some guffawing from the boys’ step grandfather and uncles. Riks was clearly embarrassed by his stepsons’ unmanly bashfulness.
That’s when Jason announced he “forgot” his suit and would just stay by the towels. Riks was not about to be further humiliated by his stepsons in front of his father, brothers, and brothers-in-law. (He didn’t really care what the women thought.). When he put his foot down this time, Grandpa Kask backed him up. A boy has nothing to be embarrassed about! If he forgets his swimsuit, he can simply go without!
And that’s how an American boy, aged 18, ended up as the only naked teenager on the beach that day.
Excellent comment! They will certainly take full advantage of his inability to understand—laughing and making comments. When he turns away and blushes, his stepfather has had enough. He heads to where they had stored their things to retrieve the belt…
