School lad’s worse nightmare
18 year old Brian fought back tears. Perhaps even over that he would lose control.
It was a long walk to the rector’s office. The loud slap of the belt would reverberate through the halls…
It reminds me of that covid-era famous drawing of a line-up of fictional superheroes bowing to passing-by medical professionals in a hospital hall; the juxtaposition between the revering in that drawing and the mockery in this setting makes our 18 year-old hero's walk of shame more humbling. I bet he wishes he had a face mask to at least gives the illusion that his plight won't be attached to a face and a name (his very unique ones) and won't be brought up constantly by peers and teachers alike for the rest of his collegiate experience!

He can only stare downward (at his own bits).
And yes, he knows the searing humiliation will now follow him everywhere. He will feel naked even when clothed!
