It was a school with a very firm headmistress and when she punished boys she really did not hold back. For really bad behaviour it was simple: turn up at Miss Cuff’s all-girl senior Biology Class, follow her orders to strip off in the storeroom and present yourself completely naked. Hands behind your back. Yes, to facilitate discussion of male reproductive organs and male personal development and maturation. Very useful because in the 1950s many of the young ladies had not seen naked males and knew nothing of their organs. Their eyes really bulged at the revelation.
